Update April 2008: 6th Sense just returned from the World Sport Kite Championships in Berck France with the third place trophy. Very cool experience and very nice finish. This time we flew the SUL, UL and Standard Nirvana during competition, never the vented. Very nice to be able to do that.

6th Sense is now taking a 2 year sabbatical, with the goal of the next nationals for them being the West Coast Nationals in 2010

Update December 2007: 6th Sense went to nationals in October in Ocean Shores Washingtone where they swept both masters precision and ballet for the second year in a row! Below is the team posing with their trophies :)  L-R  Wayne Turner, Dan Haigh, Bill Rogers.

Next up for 6th Sense is a trip to Berck France in April 2008 to compete in the World Sport Kite Championships. This will be their fourth time competing in the WSKC.

Update January 2007: 6th Sense went to nationals in October in Des Moines Iowa where they swept both masters precision and ballet. Below is the team posing with their trophies :)  L-R  Wayne Turner, Dan Haigh, Bill Rogers.

Update May 2006: 6th Sense returned from Berck in the middle of April. We got 7th place out of 16 teams. Not too bad, especially considering the wind conditions.
After Berck Scott made the decision to leave the team, so 6th Sense is now a three person team again. We have been practicing a lot getting used to flying three people. Precision is ready, but ballet is going to take some time......

Below is a pic of 6th Sense with Roger from R-Sky. We flew the vented Nirvana exclusively during the comps at Berck. The joke was we only needed to take one kite with us.

Update December 2005: 6th Sense did well at nationals again this year! Got first place in MTP and second in MTB. Which gave us a first place overall and first seed invite to the WSKC in Berck France. Very good feeling. We are looking forward to going back to Berck and will spend the winter practicing to get ready to go.
Nationals
Update October 2004: The above picture was taken during the banquet at nationals right after 6th Sense found out that we got 1st place in Masters Team Ballet and 2nd place in Masters Team Precision! We were pretty exited about how well we did :-)
Now on to the World Championships in Lincoln City!!

Update: Yet again, another update. The 2003/2004 season has just ended and 6th Sense finished 2nd for the year in the NW and is qualified to fly at nationals in October. We are hoping for a good showing there so we can compete at the World Championships again.

Update: 6th Sense has added a new team member Dan Haigh !  He is an excellent flyer who has been competing individually for a few years and currently competes in masters class. The team will be working on a new routine throughout the year (casually) and will hitting it hard come the spring of 2004. Dan and I will also be flying a pairs team and have been working on that.

Update:  Team 6th Sense has been invited to the World Championships in France!  This is a great honor for our team and we are extreemely excited to be going! Thanks Jim and Mike for giving us this opportunity.

Update again: Team 6th Sense is back from Berck. Out of 11 teams we finished 5th, which was higher than we expected to. Our goal was to not finish last so this was way cool. We are on a high that will last for quite a while. I have added a Berck page with a write up of the experience and a lot of pics here .

This page is dedicated to the team known as 6th Sense. The team is comprised of Scott Davis, Wayne Turner, and Bill Rogers (here is a link to Scotts 6th Sense page). We just finished competing at Nationals at Experienced Team and did very well. We came home with two first places (ok, no other experienced teams showed up, but we'll still take the firsts). A great end to a great season. We are now competing at Masters Team in the NW.

The pairs team known as 6th Sense that was Scott Davis and Bill Rogers also came away from nationals with two first places in experienced pairs precision and ballet. We had to beat people in that one so the first's meant a bit more to us. The pairs team is now being taken over by Scott and Wayne. I am backing off quite a bit from comps for at least the next year so they are going to keep the pairs going and I am still going to be part of the full team.

Below are some pictures of the team......

6th Sense is sponsored by Cutting Edge Kites and Laser Pro Line . We thank them both for their support.
